Life Transitions & Relationships Therapy

Change — even good change — can be disorienting. And relationships, whether with a partner, parent, child, or yourself, often carry weight that's hard to untangle alone.

What This Can Look Like

Clients come to me while navigating:

  • Major life transitions — a move, a career shift, a new chapter you didn't expect

  • Family relationship strain

  • Conflict in romantic relationships

  • Parenting strain and the pressure to get it "right"

  • Divorce or separation, and rebuilding afterward

  • Codependency and patterns of losing yourself in relationships

How We Work Through It Together

Relationships and life changes don't happen in a vacuum — family roles, cultural expectations, and power dynamics all shape how we experience them. I work from a liberation psychology lens, meaning we look at your experience within its fuller context, not just as an individual problem to fix in isolation. In our work together, we may draw on:

  • ACT — clarifying what actually matters to you as your circumstances shift

  • CBT — working through thought patterns that keep conflict or self-doubt on repeat

  • DBT-informed tools — for navigating high-conflict or emotionally intense relationships

  • Mind-body somatic practices — nervous system-informed work, since relational stress often shows up physically

A Space Without Judgment

Whether you're rebuilding after a breakup, renegotiating a family relationship, or just trying to find solid ground during a big change, you don't have to figure it out alone.
